Matches will be 10 mins for Girls and 12 mins one way. All matches will be centrally timed by the hooter.
On full time, penalty strokes awarded or in the process of being taken will be completed whereas penalty corners will cease immediately.
On arrival at Dereham Hockey Club please can all team managers register with the organisers in the main club house, in the pool room.
The competition will operate in accordance with England Hockey Junior (Clubs & Schools) In2Hockey Championships Regulations 2022/23 - V2 and England Hockey In2Hockey-7-a-side-Rules Sept 21.
Dereham Hockey Club will provide all Umpires. All team officials are asked to respect and support these umpires.
First named team to provide the ball and have initial push back. Second named team to change colours or wear bibs if there is a colour clash.
All players must be U10/U12 on Sept 1st 2022 to play in respective age groups.
In accordance with Norfolk Hockey policy all outfield players must wear shin guards and mouth-guards. Face masks must be worn when defending penalty corners. Goalkeepers must wear appropriate goalkeeping kit.
Squads will comprise a maximum of 10 players.
The Boys and Girls competitions will have points awarded as follows. 3 points for a win: 1 point for a draw: 0 points for a loss.
In the event that teams are equal on points at the end of the competition, placings will be determined by each of the following, in order:-
Highest goal difference
Highest number of goals scored
Highest number of matches won
The result of the match between the two teams concerned
A penalty stroke competition between the two teams concerned
Photography
Anyone wishing to take photographs are asked to provide their name at the team registration desk within the clubhouse and only use photographs in line with England Hockey guidance.
Dereham Hockey Club's official photographer will be taking photos on the day, these will be shared with clubs. If you do not wish for your team to be photographed, please let the organisers know. Pink wristbands are available for any child who is NOT allowed to be photographed.
